Amy's Actions Have Consequences

Amy and Aadi mull over the events of the night, hoping that when Dan wakes up, he can’t remember what happened to him. DS Swain calls and says she needs them both to accompany her to the station. DS Swain questions Amy. Amy tells DS Swain she’d like a solicitor. With Dee-Dee present, DS Swain resumes the interview and warns Amy that she could be looking at five years in prison. Amy thanks Aadi for standing by her. Aadi leans in for a kiss and Amy reciprocates, but suddenly she’s overcome by a wave of panic. Aadi gets awkward around Amy

Liam's the Fall Guy

Sean quizzes Dylan about his missing trainers, vowing to call school for answers. As Dylan heads off, Liam waves to him, but Dylan gives him the cold shoulder and Gary clocks his animosity. In school Dylan warns Mason of Sean’s intention to report his missing trainers. Mason and Conch tell Mrs Crawshaw that Liam stole Dylan’s trainers. As Mrs Crawshaw opens Liam’s locker, he realises he’s been stitched up!

Liam shows Dylan all the nasty messages he’s received from Mason. Dylan urges him to block the number. At school, Mason gets in Liam’s face, telling him if he rats on him again to Gary, Maria will suffer. Gary and Maria give Dylan some cash, suggesting he and Liam bury the hatchet and go to the cinema. Dylan tells Liam he’s sorry about the incident in the school but when Mason approaches, Liam does a runner. As Liam heads into Victoria Court, Mason, Dylan and his cronies corner him, showering him in rubbish and calling him a rat. When Mason starts taking pictures, Liam knocks the phone out of his hand. Mason pulls out a knife and threatens Liam.

Simon takes delivery of a returns pallet. He’s disappointed to see it’s full of cheap rubbish and a box of vape pens. Leanne orders him to get rid of it. Mason insists Dylan bunks off school with him. When they spot Simon loading the gear from the pallet into Peter’s car, Mason orders Dylan to steal the box of vape pens. When Simon reveals that the vapes have been nicked, Peter’s furious. Having ascertained that the thief is a mate of Dylan’s, Peter thunders on the door of No.11. As Mason goads Peter, suggesting maybe he’ll run them over in his car, Peter loses it, breaks down the door and makes a grab for Dylan.

Ed and Ronnie Rile the Street

When Ronnie reveals that he’s had a call from a property developer mate and he’d like them to oversee the conversion of the Rovers into flats, Ed’s delighted whilst Debbie warns him that he’ll have the whole street against him. Michael tells Ed that Grandad Sarge called and he’ll be joining them for Christmas, while Dee-Dee invites Joel to join the family too.

Paul thanks Ed for his work in the flat and promises to pay him as soon as his disability grant comes in. Ed masks his panic as he assures him there’s no rush. Glenda leads a ‘Save the Rovers Campaign’ and rallies the troops as they see Luke, Ed and Ronnie file out of the Rovers. Believing the pub to have been sold, Jenny's heartbroken to think Ronnie betrayed her.

In the cafe Ed promises Tony that he’ll pay him his wages today. However when he goes to pay for his coffee and Norris’ card is declined, he can feel the panic rising. Michael opens a letter addressed to Norris Cole informing him that his credit card has been frozen due to suspicious activity. Ed panics, is his gambling about to be exposed?

Carla Tries to Strike a Deal

Carla tells Beth and Sean she’s paid their wages for last month and if they return to work and complete the order, they’ll be paid for this month too. Carla’s frustrated when they say they’ll think about it. When Sean lets slip that Carla’s had to bung he and Beth extra cash to entice them back to work, Peter lambasts Carla for failing to share her work troubles with him or ever caring what he thinks. Carla’s shocked at his outburst.

The Bibs and Bobs

When Asha reveals she’s spending the day with Isla going through coursework and then they plan to have dinner, Nina admits to Asha that she’s jealous. Asha assures her she’s nothing to worry about and they’re simply friends.

Joel tells Bernie she needs to prepare herself for a custodial sentence. Bernie breaks the news to Gemma that if she gets locked up, she’ll miss Paul’s last Christmas.
