Sarah Strays onto the Dark Side
Nick’s horrified to find Damon sitting at his desk. Damon menacingly reminds Nick that he still has a financial interest in the business and reveals he’s hired a new solicitor who Nick might have heard of. Nick fumes at Adam for agreeing to act on behalf of Damon. Horrified, Sarah rows with Adam and announces that she’s off to the hotel he booked for their date night on her own. As Damon orders a drink in the hotel bar, Sarah parks herself next to him, unaware who he is. Damon chats her up as Sarah admits she’s had a row with her husband. Tipsy, Sarah invites Damon up to her room for a drink.
Sarah’s unimpressed to realise Adam is still representing Damon. Meeting up in the ginnel, Sarah begs Damon to stay away from Nick and drop Adam as his solicitor. Damon refuses to make any promises. Dee-Dee warns Damon he’s unlikely to walk free as whoever stitched him up knew what they were doing. Damon’s fuming and cornering Nick in the bistro office, closes the door behind him.
Stephen lies to Sarah, making out that the Americans have pulled out of the contract.

Evelyn Suffers a Great Loss
"Thank you for being the best boy, the prince of Weatherfield."
Evelyn calls in the café with Cerberus where Roy apologises for missing her birthday party and tells her about Carla’s problems. When Cerberus later shows no interest in his tea, Evelyn is concerned.
With Cerberus still sick, a concerned Tyrone insists they take him to the vets. When the vet suggests food poisoning, a guilty Roy reveals he dropped an eccles cake in the café and fears Cerberus may have eaten it. Both angry and worried, Evelyn tells Roy that if anything happens to Cerberus, she’ll never forgive him. The vet breaks the news to Evelyn that Cerberus is suffering from kidney failure.
Evelyn brands the cafe a death trap, Roy tells Nina he’s getting rid of his phone as had he not been distracted, he would never have dropped the cake and Cerberus may still be alive.
Paul Makes a Move
When Summer suggests it’s time Paul moved in, will Billy and Paul agree to give their relationship another go?
When Gemma confides in Paul that the wedding venue is demanding full payment up front or the whole thing’s off, Dee-Dee overhears him on the phone to the bank. When Paul reveals that there’s been no improvement in his hand, Dr Gaddas refers him to a neurologist.
Having taken a call from Dee-Dee asking for a witness statement, Peter visits Paul and orders him to back off and stop using Carla’s mental health problems for his own financial gain. Paul assures him that’s not the case but Peter accuses him of faking his injuries. The neurologist tells Paul that he’s sending him for further scans but the problems he’s experiencing are unlikely to have been caused by the accident. Paul’s shocked as Dee-Dee confirms that if that’s the case he won’t be entitled to compensation.
Struggling to pay the rent, Aaron tells Summer he reckons it’s time they lived together again. Summer’s taken aback but agrees to think about it.
