Max Turns On Griff
The police question Max about his involvement with Griff’s gang but release him without charge. David is shocked when Gail refuses to support Max. Max is horrified to come face to face with Griff. Daryan tells David he tried to speak to Max but could hear him arguing with a man inside the house. David rushes to the house and a fight breaks out between him and Griff, has David put himself and Max in danger? To Toyah’s dismay, Spider discharges himself from hospital, determined to help the police find Griff and bring him to justice.
David is treading carefully around Max and Spider assures him that Max is a good kid and David just needs to have faith in him. Max meets up with Lauren who tells him that she’s going to stay with her Mum in Devon and that he should come with her as they’re both public enemy number one. What will he decide?
When Maria finds out that the council have given the go ahead for a new refugee centre, she’s cockahoop. Gary does his best to be pleased for her. Max skives off school and admits to Gail that he can’t face people at the moment.
Jacob Starts at the Bistro
In the bistro, Damon introduces Leanne to Dan, a fruit and veg supplier and tells her he can do her a far better deal. Jacob’s left suspicious when Damon tells him that Dan’s first delivery is due this afternoon and hidden in the crate of olive oil will be a package containing drugs.
Expecting the first drugs delivery Jacob is stressed when a party of police officers arrive for a retirement do with their sniffer dog in tow. A crate of olive oil is delivered and Jacob manages to get the package out and leaves the Bistro. When the sniffer dog barks at the crate Craig heads for Jacob’s flat. Is the game up? Back In the bistro, Leanne and Ryan check through the rest of the delivery boxes wondering what on earth set the dog barking.
In the ginnel, Damon gives Jacob a beating and tells him that if he wants to protect Amy, he needs to disappear for good. Jacob tells Nick how Damon is smuggling drugs through the restaurant and he has no choice but to leave as Amy’s life is in danger. Hearing Amy entering the flat, a desperate Jacob pretends he’s on the phone dealing drugs. Amy’s horrified to think he’s up to his old tricks. What will she do?
Bernie Gets Gemma a Job
After a night in the classroom, Gemma tells Mrs York that either she agrees to introduce BSL to the curriculum or they’ll report her to the police for kidnapping. In the café, Gemma, Bernie and Michael celebrate their victory over Mrs York. When Michael reveals that he’s due at a business meeting and there’s nobody to mind Glory, Bernie offers up Gemma’s services in return for £40.
Daisy and Daniel's Doomed Weddding?
When Daisy falls in love with a wedding venue way out of her budget she is thrilled when they tell her that they can do it for half the price on the second Monday of May. What will Daniel say?
Daisy plans to go to an event at Daisy’s hotel where a top DJ is playing. Hoping to try and get him for the wedding she tells Daniel that she still wants to get married in May. When Daniel is less than enthusiastic about it being so soon she heads off to the event and flirts with the DJ, putting her number into his online and posting pics of them together online.
When Daniel asks to speak to Daisy in private she is expecting a row but Daniel shows her the brochure for Charlesworth Hall, the posh wedding venue and reveals that he’s managed to book the time off and the wedding is set for the 8th May. When Daisy receives a bouquet of flowers from the DJ, she hides the card and hands the flowers to Daniel making out she bought them for him.
Summer's Three Dads and a Baby?
When Summer announces that she’s got an appointment at the fertility clinic, Billy assures her that he won’t stand in her way this time. Todd and Paul are determined to find out more about Mike and Esther. Paul suggests to Todd that the best plan of action might be to raise the money to pay Mike and Esther off in the hope they’ll leave Summer alone.
Having taken Summer for her blood test, Mike and Esther drop her off at home. Leanne clocks Mike and realises he’s the drunken man who flirted with her in the bistro. She tells Billy who is deeply concerned and feels she needs to know the truth. How will Summer react?
Summer is shocked when Todd tells her he has been contacted by Ava, a member of the congregation at Mike and Esther’s old church, claiming she had an affair with Mike. Summer decides to confront Esther who confirms it is true but says they have agreed to put it behind them. Summer decides to meet up with Ava but is shocked by what she discovers. Furious she heads over to Esther and Mike’s but finds herself in danger when Mike locks her in the nursery without her bag containing her phone and insulin.
Maria Finds Her Voice
Maria reopens the Peace Festival market in a bid to prove the community is united against Griff and his band of thugs. Councillor Len Cameron approaches Maria and tells her he’s organised a TV interview to talk about the attack. Maria, David, Toyah and Spider listen as Len tells the TV reporter that the current open door policies are clearly not working. Furious Maria interrupts Len to tell the reporter that she vehemently disagrees and never has the community been more united.
Dee-Dee Wants Alya Back
Dee-Dee presents Alya with a care package to help her over her ordeal and begs her to return to the solicitors as she’s struggling without her. Alya admits she’d love to come back.
