Evelyn and Taylor Swift

At No.9, Hope and Ruby fuss over the dog and announce that they’ve named her Taylor, after Taylor Swift. Terry corners Evelyn in the precinct but she denies knowing anything about his dog. Evelyn is horrified to find Cassie taking Taylor out for a walk and bundles them back into the house.  Unbeknown to them, Terry watches from across the street. Terry tracks down Evelyn to the shop and flipping the sign to ‘closed’, he bolts the door.  Terry menacingly advances on Evelyn demanding to know what she’s done with his dog. When Dev finds the door locked he enlists Gary to help him break the door open, will they be in time?

Tyrone is still furious at Cassie letting Hope have her nose pierced. Tyrone hopes that they’ve seen the last of Terry are dashed  when Terry calls at the garage and handing Tyrone his contact details, orders him to return the dog by 6.00pm otherwise he’ll regret it.  Tyrone’s rattled knowing Roy took the dog to the rescue centre. Evelyn realises they’ve no choice but to collect the dog from the rescue centre and return her to Terry. When Tyrone reveals that Terry’s been released on bail, Evelyn’s certain the police will be coming after her next for dognapping.

Can Daisy and Daniel Save the Rovers?

Having gained permission from Waterfords, Daniel shows Daisy into the empty Rovers and suggests that rather than buying a flat in Redbank, they buy the pub instead.  Daisy’s gobsmacked. Will she agree to his plan?

Jenny and Ken are thrilled when Daisy breaks the news to Jenny that she and Daniel are buying the pub. Daisy is thrown when Daniel tells her he hopes the next step will be her adopting Bertie. The penny drops for Ryan when Daniel makes a throwaway comment about the gym job. He tells Daisy he thinks Daniel knows about them and sabotaged the job, explaining to her about the video. Daisy reckons he’s overthinking things but back at the flat talk about being a family gets to her and as she starts to fill in the adoption form guilt gets the better of her and she admits to sleeping with Ryan. How will Daniel react?

Daisy does her best to try and convince Daniel she would never chat again but he’s devastated when she admits that she does love Ryan - but in a different way. Meanwhile Jenny lets slip to Carla about what has happened. Daisy tells Ryan that Daniel knows everything but before Ryan can tell Crystal about his one night stand with Daisy, Daniel storms into the bistro and lays into Ryan. Ryan leaves the Bistro with Daniel in hot pursuit and a fight breaks out. Crystal tells Ryan she’s prepared to give him another chance, she leaves for Glasgow in two days’ time and it’s up to him if he wants to go with her.

Stephen's Diary Holds More Secrets

Audrey shows Stephen’s belongings to Jenny and asks her if there’s anything she’d like.  Jenny takes his laptop, explaining that she used to borrow it from time to time. When David suggests she should throw Stephen’s diary in the bin as she’ll find it upsetting, Audrey won’t hear of it, adamant that he wasn’t all bad.
Audrey refuses to bin the rest of Stephen’s things. David studies Stephen’s journal and is taken aback to discover that Gail was initially unsure who Sarah’s father was.
David tells Sarah that Gail wasn’t sure who her Dad was when she was born. How will Sarah react? Gail tells the family that she’s sick of all the in-fighting, Audrey needs their support and she wants them all to meet at 11.00am tomorrow morning to sort things out.

Jenny and Carla Find a Clue

Jenny’s excitement over Daisy buying the pub is cut short when Shona points out she will have to take orders from her. Jenny logs onto Stephen’s laptop looking for her list of suppliers.

Jenny searches the files on Stephen’s laptop and finds the last one he edited on the day he died, entitled ‘Infinity Seagull Ventures’. Jenny and Carla head to the police station but Swain explains that they don’t have the resources to try and crack the password on the file. Audrey calls in the Kabin clutching the notebook and explains to Carla and Jenny that it’s Stephen’s journal.  Carla and Jenny realise it could hold the key to Stephen’s passwords.
