November 1, 2014

It’s Tracy’s wedding to Rob and in the absence of any mates of the groom, he hands his sister Carla the role of Best Man, a job she carries off well. So well in fact that she writes a to-do list and top of the list is "Dob groom into the cops". Well, it wasn’t written down of course, but she does that anyway, after Rob confesses he killed Tina. Meanwhile, Tracy gets ready for her dream wedding that soon turns into a nightmare. She turns up at the venue in a horse-drawn carriage just as Rob does a runner when Carla tells him she’s called the cops. Rob spends the night in a B&B somewhere far away from Tracy and the cops (for now) while Tracy gets handcuffed and accompanied to the station to assist with enquiries. She’s released later and is in a right old state. Little Amy gets taken to Roy’s Rolls for a comforting chocolate shake in the wake of all the wedding weirdness. Corrie obviously forgot about Amy’s milk allergy, but us fans have longer memories. Ken rings Peter in prison to tell him that Rob’s confessed to Tina’s murder, tells him to be strong and he’ll be out soon.

Over at Gail’s house, she’s dressed in Ken’s kimono to treat Michael to a Japanese meal of wasabi and what-nots. But Michael’s got some explaining to do when David and Kylie spot him hugging Eileen by the cobbles. It turns out that Michael has been to hospital where he has his hereditary heart condition confirmed, and he took Eileen along for support. Yes, he should have taken Gail, but Michael’s a man and sometimes men Just Do Not Think. He confesses all to Gail and says that now he knows he’s got a heart problem it’s made him want to reach out and get in touch with his son, Gavin. Kylie and David do a quick Google to see if they find him online. As you do.

And finally this week, there’s a parcel on its way for Norris but he’s thwarted at every turn when he tries to collect it from the post office. We’ve all been there, Norris and we feel your pain.

And that's just about that for this week. Remember, you can sign up to get these Corrie weekly updates by email at http://www.corrie.net/updates/weekly/subscribe.htm
