There's a funny smell coming from underneath Underworld. The
drains are blocked and Carla's not pleased. She blames Owen for
shoddy refurbishment work and he rightly takes neither the blame nor
the responsibility, he just tells Carla if she wants diagnostics
done on her drains, it'll cost her. Oh, it's gonna cost her alright
when she finds out just what's causing that stench. It's not
something fishy, it's something Fishwick.
Over at the garage, Kevin gets an erection on his new tool that
goes up and down. Up and down, up and down, up and down goes the new
twenty thousand pounds electronic ramp that he refuses to let Tyrone
use. In a foul mood, Tyrone gives it a good thumping with his
spanner and when Kev's next underneath there, tinkering with the
camshaft or whatever the business end of a car's called, the thing
collapses on top of Kevin, crushing his arm and sending him to
th'ospickle. Tyrone comes clean and tells Kev it was he who damaged
the machine. Kev sheds a few tears feeling sorry for himself but it
was me who was choked when Tyrone goes round to see Kevin to tell
him he wants to forgive and forget all about him sleeping with
Molly, having her baby if Kevin'll forgive him for trying to kill
him. Seems a square deal to me.
Meanwhile John's got the Hoyles and Chesney tied up in the
basement of the Hoyles house. It's too silly for words and won't be
over for quite some time yet. Best buckle up, it's going to be a
clumpy ride.
Sally returns from a loved-up weekend in Paris with Jeff although
Eileen wonders how well a dirty weekend in France could have gone
when Sally tells her she spent most of her time in the Louvre. Well,
at least Jeff's loved-up, Sally's not too sure but she's pleased to
be back and even helps Kevin look after baby Jack.
Little FayE, jealous at the attention that Anna's giving Katy,
tells Owen that Katy's pregnant. He goes storming in with all guns
blazing on Katy, who's wondering why Chesney's done a runner (he's
locked up in the Hoyles cellar, but no one knows where he is). And
Owen, now that he knows Anna knows about Katy and the baby, gives
Anna the glad-eye over the barmcakes in Roy's Rolls. Ooh, where's
Eddie Windass when you need him? Seriously, where is Eddie
Windass?
And that's just about that for this week.
