October 1999: Stylist Tom Ferguson has no trouble coming up with the £500 advance rent and moves into the flat.
January 2000: Sick and tired of his father's interference in his life, Tom quits the flat at the end of the month and starts a new life in Leeds.
May 2000: The flat lies empty for four months until Audrey is persuaded to rent the flat out to Geena Gregory and Bobbi Lewis, who are happy to share the flat even though the second bedroom is barely big enough for a bed. In September 2001, Geena moves out to live with her fiancée Dev Alanhan in his flat on Weatherfield Quays, leaving Bobbi on her own looking for a new flatmate.
October 2001: Fiz Brown "persuades" Bobbi that she would be the ideal flatmate, but just in time, Maria Sutherland finds out about the flat and takes it from under Fiz's nose - much to Fiz's annoyance.
April 2002: Bobbi leaves Weatherfield after a bitter break-up
with boyfriend Vikram
Desai. Toyah
Battersby takes her room. In July, Maria meets Nick
Tilsley, instantly falls in love, and the next months sells
everything and joins Nick for a new life in Canada. Audrey offers
her room to Fiz Brown without discussing it with Toyah; despite
Toyah's grave reservations, they eventually become firm friends.
2002 - 2005: Some months later, Maria returns from Canada and moves back in. Maria sleeps with Toyah's boyfriend, John and becomes pregnant. She aborts the baby but Toyah finds out and is crushed. toyah leaves Weatherfield for London with Spider. Audrey later allows junior stylist Candice Stowe to move in after Candice's mother's boyfriend won't leave her alone. Maria moves out after reconciling with Nick who has returned from Canada. Candice and Fizz enjoy the flat and move Peacock nanny Claire in for awhile until she too leaves, to move in with Ashley.
2006: Candice has left. Maria had moved out and in with Nick Tilsley then when they broke up, she moves back. Claire Casey moves in with the other two until she marries Ashley Peacock.
2009: Flat is empty. Maria moved to Number 7 with fiance and later husband, Liam Connor. Fiz moved back to Number 5 to look after Chesney.
2017: Current residents, Maria Connor and Liam Connor (Jr.)
