Kirk Sutherland Kirk SutherlandKirk is Maria's brother. He's a bit dozy and not very clever but he has a good heart. He is a good mate to Tyrone, whom he met via his parents' kennels and to Jason Grimshaw as well. Kirk and Fizz have been a couple since the flat-decorating party. He is also living with Les Battersby and has got up to all sorts of stunts with Les, none of which have particularly worked out. When Les was waiting for his trial for assaulting police constable Mick Hopwood, Kirk tried very hard to find a witness and was eventually successful though Les still lost his case.
