Dennis Stringer Dennis StringerWorked with Les Battersby on Community Service - for non-payment of 103 parking fines ! Denis was a Hell's Angel until he had to sell his motorbike - or 'hog'- after a divorce; the replacement, a Morris Traveler, didn't quite have the image the Chapter were looking for and they threw him out.
Eventually, he ended up living with the Battersbys - and he and Janice Battersby fell for one another in the process. Janice ended her marriage with Les, and on New Year's Day (New Years Eve?) 2002, he tried to gas himself inside his car - ironically though, it was Dennis who came to his rescue. Dennis attempted to take Les to hospital, but on the way, the car he was driving overturned on a hill and crashed into the field below. Dennis died in hospital a few days later.
