The landlady of the White Swan, who was one of Bet
Gilroy's pals (and sometimes enemy). She fell out with Bet in1989 after
Alec Gilroy suspected her husband Paul was having
an affair with Bet.
The animosity between them rose again when both The Rovers and
The White Swan were put up for sale by Newton & Ridley - whilst
Stella and Paul could afford to buy the White Swan, Bet couldn't
afford to buy The Rovers.
