Amy Nelson Amy NelsonA worker a Bettbuys who fell in love with Andy McDonald. They became engaged, to the disapproval of Liz McDonald, who insisted it wasn't Amy's colour she objected to but the fact she was older and had a son.
In the end, they didn't get married. Amy went abroad for a holiday to the original family home in Trinidad and met Dominic's father, Errol, again. She stayed there with him, and when Andy went to meet her at the airport, only Amy's mother was there, which was how Andy discovered he'd been dumped.
