Mavis Riley's domineering Aunt,
whom she lived with when she first appeared on the Street, and
was persuaded to move back into Jubilee Terrace with Edie when
she was ill.
To show her independence, she left Edie in bed and went to
work. Mavis was horrified and guilt-ridden to find Edie dead from
heart failure when she returned.
