This is Nicola's second audition for Coronation Street. She previously screen-tested for Kate Connor.

Nicola came to prominence in May 2016 when she was working as a receptionist. She was sent home without pay for not wearing 'high-heels'. She took the matter to Parliament by getting more than 10,000 signatures on a petition. Now the Government will have to respond.
