Thanks very much for taking the trouble to look at this page. We're currently looking for writers for both episode updates and summary updates.

Episode updates
We currently need updaters for alternate Sundays and alternate Wednesdays. Many of you will be familiar with the episode updates, but if you aren't you can take a look at some recent updates.

There's no set rules writing updates - they have become longer over the past couple of years, but length and style are very much up to you. The updates are very much a personal review of an episode, and a chance to let those creative juices run wild. They ARE hard work - but everyone who writes them says they are worth it.

If you'd like to volunteer,or simply find out more, send us a mail using the link below.

Summary updates
Summary updates are a new venture for corrie.net. They are intended to be a quick review of an episode, hopefully written othe night the episode is transmitted, so they can be circulated and put on the website before the next episode.

To this end there are guidelines for the summaries. They should be a maximum of 250 words and they should be a factual account of the episode, so no nicknames, quotes, etc. However, they still should convey all the important events of the episode, so they will take some skillful writing !

If you are unsure whether you have the skills or committment to become a full update writer, the summaries will be an ideal way to test the water.

We are looking for as many people as possible to volunteer for this,so if you are at all interested, send us a mail using the link below !

Thanks in advance for all your help !
